Designed by the award-winning Vancouver-based architecture firm Henriquez Partners Architects, the unique building was envisioned to establish a gateway into the downtown core and in response to the distinct character of the surrounding areas. The slender 26-storey residential building located at the corner of Georgia and Cardero street, features distinctive screens and a collection of just 119 luxury condominiums. The tower will sit atop a four-storey podium offering future retail opportunities.
The waterfront neighbourhood of Coal Harbour is a coveted location that combines the peace and tranquility of a residential community with proximity to the city core. This rare enclave at the edge of the downtown core provides direct access to the seawall, Stanley Park, and the West End. An unmatched address that connects nature and culture at the water’s edge.
Imported Italian kitchens with premium Miele appliances and integrated technology. Bathrooms with generous storage and incorporated ledges offering enhanced form and function. And homes featuring the unique BOSAspace technology truly make the interiors of Cardero special.
CTBUH awarded this project under the 2021 category of “Best Tall Building Under 100 Metres.” It is considered as one of the starchitect designs in the growing cluster of innovative and unique tower architecture in the general area of the northwest corner of the West End and the southwest corner of Coal Harbour. “Cardero stands out as one of our family’s proudest achievements in more than 50 years of creating homes in Metro Vancouver,” said developer Colin Bosa in a statement.
“We want to make a meaningful long-term impact on the city, and we are proud of the partnership with Henriquez Partners Architects.
